Hace 4 días · I was already tuned into the Minutemen by the time word of Double Nickels’ existence was making the rounds of the mainstream press, having bought What Makes A Man Start Fires? back in 1982 direct from SST Records for six dollars. And I knew of Hüsker Dü via their song “Real World” being on the SST sampler album The Blasting Concept.
