The Salesian Academy of St John Bosco (Formerly Savio Salesian College) (SDB) is a secondary school for girls and boys aged 11-16. The school opened in 1964 on another site in Bootle, and was initially known as St Martin's College. The school moved to the current site shortly after, when the buildings were completed.
