Imaginations from the Other Side es el quinto disco del grupo alemán de power metal Blind Guardian, lanzado en 1995.Fue grabado de agosto a noviembre de 1994 y de enero a marzo de 1995, en los estudios Sweet Silence. El productor fue Flemming Rasmussen y el diseño de la portada estuvo a cargo de Andreas Marschall, que ya había trabajado con Iron Maiden y Timo Tolkki.
5 de abr. de 1995 · Partially a concept album, about a child tempted to enter a fantasy universe, a mirror being the gate. Intercut with songs about Arthurian legends and general Camelot folklore, a subject Hansi Kürsch had been reading extensively about, just prior to the writing sessions for the album. The album ends with the child jumping through the mirror into the fantasy universe.
Imaginations From The Other Side reiterates on the quasi-conceptual character of the two previous studio releases and, perhaps, ups the ante somewhat: the titular opening piece abstracts from particular imaginative stories and instead tells a story about imagination itself, referencing the childhood escapist-fantasies of The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Chronicles of Narnia.

7 de abr. de 2023 · This, not any other Blind Guardian album, is the band's magnum opus. In that case, why is their any reason to ignore Imaginations From the Other Side. This is Blind Guardian at their best, so go out and get it if you want something that stands out and is pulled of greatly. Let your imagination run wild now, I'll see you on the other side.
