Proposals for a new 11-16 secondary school for 1,100 girls and boys in Northampton have today been given official approval by the Secretary of State for Education to move to the pre-opening phase.
PE. Northampton School for Boys is equipped with first class facilities to cater for all aspects of the PE curriculum. The school is blessed with beautiful grounds, a magnificent sports hall, a state of the art swimming pool, a traditional gymnasium, floodlit rubber crumb football pitch, floodlit 1st XV rugby pitch and floodlit tennis courts.

Northampton School for Boys is regularly over-subscribed. This Admissions Policy meets the requirements of the most recent DfE School Admissions Code. The timelines for the procedure must be adhered to and are outlined in Appendix A. The school is a single sex school for boys aged 11-18, and admits girls into the Sixth Form.
