Co-educational since 1980, Bristol Grammar School is a day school providing a wide-ranging and challenging education for c. 1,000 boys and girls aged between 11–18, while BGS Infants and Juniors, based on the same site, caters for those in the 4–11 age range.

The IB Diploma is an alternative to A levels offering breadth of learning as well as academic rigour. It has been offered in the BGS Sixth Form since September 2018. If you decide to take the IB route, you will select six subjects, three of which you will study in depth at Higher Level. The other three you will take at Standard Level.
