The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® is one cohesive school, founded by Lee Strasberg with the same educational mission and the same high standard of actor training. Both campuses teach Lee Strasberg’s Method in its purest form and offer the same core classes. Elective classes, however, will vary at each campus and are subject to change.
Geoffrey studied with Lee Strasberg for many years beginning in 1954 and became a member of the Actors Studio in 1956, the year of his Broadway debut. He made his film debut in The Bridge on the River Kwai. Geoffrey has taught Method Acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute since 1978.
In celebration of the Institute’s 50th Anniversary, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is thrilled to announce 4 new need- and merit-based scholarships to the Los Angles campus! The Two-Year Conservatory Certificate Program) in New York consists of six 12-Week sessions of full-time study (22 classroom hours a week). Students must take the following classes each session: 2 Method Acting classes (4 hours each- for a total of 8 hours) 1 Voice class (2 hours) 1 Movement class (2 hours) 1 Theatre History class (2 hours)
