Purbrook Park provides an exceptional, engaging and motivating learning environment that allows pupils to flourish both inside and outside the classroom. We focus on offering a broad education, with many opportunities beyond the school grounds.
Purbrook Park School is a comprehensive co-educational secondary school situated in Purbrook, north of Portsmouth, Hampshire. The school has an enrollment number of 840 pupils, aged 11 through to 16. It became a trust school in April 2009.
Purbrook Park School operates a two-week timetable with 52 taught lessons throughout week A and week B. Each lesson is 1 hour long. The school closes to pupils at 3:00pm (Monday to Thursday).

School History. Our beautiful main building was built by John Deverell in 1839, and remained in the Deverell family until 1919. In 1924, the county authorities bought the house and estate for £11,000. In 1924, our school opened as ‘Purbrook Park County High School’.
