The Architectural Association (AA) was founded in 1847 and this year will celebrate its 175 th anniversary. Since its inception until the present day, the AA has grown into a substantial public association, housed at Bedford Square in central London, in its 142-hectare woodland site at Hooke Park in Dorset and represented globally through the AA Visiting School.
