Gutierrez are working on a sequel to the 3D animated film The Book of Life, which embraces the Mexican tradition of "Day of the Dead". The sequel will continue the story of the love triangle between Manolo, Joaquin and Maria, and their interactions with the gods Xibalba and La Muerte.
