The Sesame Closing Theme is the short instrumental piece that accompanied the underwriter credits for Sesame Street from 1972 to 1992. The piece is known under a number of unofficial alternative titles, including "Funky Chimes" and "Funky Bells."

The Friday Closing theme to Sesame Street. And I do miss the old funky chimes. The funky chimes discontinued in November of 1992 in favor of "Coming Soon on Sesame Street".
