The only part of Abraham the defender goes through is the foot he puts in front of the tackle for no reason other than try to block the tackle and get a penalty. In any natural motion by the attacker to get a shot on goal, that would have been a 100% clean tackle.
I'm glad he was suspended simply to preserve his health. He would not have survived today's match on the touchline. It was the most absurd comedy of a team failing to score chance after chance after chance that I have ever seen.
