You can't just slap a grayscale filter over art with color and expect it to work. Just look at Faithbound Judge's original Color print vs its Double-Feature Grayscale print. While cyan and yellow look dissimilar, when put in grayscale they blend together. What makes black and white art look good is not the same as a grayscale filter. That is all.
