  1. 13 de sept. de 2023 · We study the contribution of functional groups, by using ion coupled plasma etching to modify a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) film, a polymer with a naturally quasi-null charge transfer ability. Fluoride (HDPE−F) and hydroxyl (HDPE−OH) functional groups are generated and endowed HDPE with charge withdrawing ability.

  2. 1 de jun. de 2022 · Extreme activation conditions have been shown by Lahijani et al. (2018) as detrimental to surface functional groups, with decreases in O, N and S, from 25.07 – 13.63 wt%, 1.54 – 0.34 wt% and 0.12 – 0.01 wt%, respectively, when increasing pyrolysis temperature from 500 to 900°C.

  3. 14 de may. de 2020 · Polymers are commonly used to fabricate triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). Here, several polymer films with similar main chains but different functional groups on the side chain are employed to clarify the contributions of each functional group to contact electrification (CE).

  4. 1 de jul. de 2021 · Among all the surface functional groups, the P-doped functionalized-graphite surfaces had a prominent influence on CO 2 uptake owning to the strong electron-gaining/donating capacity and high adsorption energies.

  5. 1 de jun. de 2023 · Different types or content differences of oxygen-containing functional groups can cause changes in the polarity, surface energy, adsorption energy, impedance, energy bands and other aspects of carbon materials, and even lead to defects affecting the structure and physicochemical properties.

  6. 13 de sept. de 2021 · Oxygen functional groups improve rate capability as well as long-term cycling stability of graphite oxide. The adsorption-intercalation hybrid K + storage mechanism of graphite oxide (GO) is elucidated by in situ Raman spectroscopy and systematic electrochemical characterization.

  7. 30 de abr. de 2024 · Experiments and calculations demonstrate that the electricity mainly originates from the water molecule adsorption by carboxyl groups and dissociation of functional groups on carbon surface, which leads to the formation of electrical double layers at interfaces.
