Translation. At the foot of Venti's Statue in Mondstadt, Tevyat language, translates to: "THE GATEWAY TO CELESTIA". Sign found at Springvale, can also be found at Dawn Winery, Tevyat language, translates to: top-most "WELCOME", center "DAWN WINERY", smaller text indiscernible.
I'm starting to think that the "gateway to celestia" thing is just a big misdirection from the devs, and that it were actually the people of Mondstadt who wrote it, because Venti c...

Under her guidance, the people built a tall statue in the plaza to commemorate the miracle of the Anemo Archon's descent. The inscription beneath the statue was put there by the leader of all the clans.
Before, the main theory was that the corridor was built as Old Mondstadt was friendly with a civilization to its west (most likely Snezhnaya due to the Fatui). However, it also points in the general direction of Celestia, which would be much more interesting if this was a Khaenri’ahn city.
Celestia is a mysterious location that very few people understand. It is the floating island that can be seen in the sky above Teyvat, and the residence of the gods. It is currently controlled by the Heavenly Principles, although they have been silent since the cataclysm 500 years ago.[1]
