26 de ago. de 2016 · Near the beginning of the story, there is an iconic scene where a character asks you "Do you like hurting other people?". The scene is built up (music, visuals, etc.) so that it culminates at that particular point, and the hard, non-avoidable, direct question hits you like a truck and makes you question your sanity for playing Hotline Miami.
You don’t necessarily want to hurt people in real life, but if you enjoy the gameplay of HLM (aka brutal violence) then that means to some degree you do like watching people get hurt, even if it’s fictitious.
