I have a cobra sword, winterblade, summer blade, gnome sword. I mean if you can afford it it's nice to have, but you will probably find you will get more use out or a few ornate shields (100k-200k+), or a gnome shield (1kk-2.5kk), then when you get more money and levels, falcon or lion shield.
SoC is a total ripoff! For the same money or less you can get an ornate chestplate. Then, once you get lvl 250 buy a umbral master slayer and never bother about wearing a shield again. Vs. a one-handed sword, it gives you +3 attack, +2 sword, and similar defense.
