Pues eso, tengo el que aparentemente es un tipico bug de Half Life 2, en que la iluminación no funciona correctamente, todo tiene demasiada luz y le quita mucha belleza al juego, intente solucionarlo con la respuesta que esta en todos lados, la que en la consola de comandos escribes; mat_dxlevel 90. mat_hdr_level 2.

Hi, I'm playing Half Life 2 and I started it up for the second time today and the lighting does not seem to be working at all. Everything looks way too bright and bland and the lighting effects are just... gone. I was wondering if there was anybody who could help me with this error.
