1 de mar. de 2022 · We make our alignments in one drawing and then data shortcut it to another drawing where we cut the profile views, and then data shortcut the alignment and profile to a third drawing where we define the corridor and FG surface. Here's my issue: I'd like to create some offset alignments that would also have profiles.
18 de abr. de 2019 · I created a profile of an existing ground using alignment. I have my profile view now showing the existing grade. How can I offset the existing line (or profile line) by 2 feet? I don't want to use Create Offset Alignment tool because I think it will offset it horizontally not vertically.
24 de may. de 2021 · I want the cross slope to vary. 2% down at a wash crossing, 2% up in a hill cut section. It would be easy with offset profiles but I can't add them after the offset alignments were created. The only way is to erase them and start over.
An Offset Parameters tab is available in the Alignment Properties dialog box. From this location, you can change parameters such as nominal offset value and start and end stations. This exercise continues from Exercise 1: Creating Offset Alignments. Examine the offset alignment geometry.

Offset profiles are created in the Profiles collection inside the named offset alignment collections. By default the profiles are dynamic and have a single cross slope value. You can add regions for cross slopes or change the update property to static by modifying the offset profile properties .
