10 de feb. de 2023 · If you misplace an item with an AirTag attached, use the Find My app to see or get directions to its current or last known location. If it's nearby, you can also play a sound from your AirTag's built-in speaker.
I'm moving with a POD container in a couple of months, and have seen comments about putting a tracker in a box to be able to personally track the container's (or moving truck's) whereabouts as a redundancy to the tracker PODS provides. I work at NASA and we're all about redundancies and contingency plans, so I'm thinking of doing the same.

If at all possible, the ideal location for a tracker would be in the cab of the truck, under a seat. If that's not feasible then you'll just want to ensure that the tracker isn't encased completely in metal and that it's sitting some distance from the top/sides/floor of the truck itself.
I used to have this problem with one of my old IBM thinkpads. The reason was the trackpoint nipple was split, after I replaced the nipple it fixed itself. I’m not sure if this will help.

It works within a certain range (100-400 feet) and is best reserved for items such as a wallet, pet leash, luggage, or keys.
