  5. 10 de may. de 2021 · Yes, the play was legal. Normally, during the cleanup step, no player gets priority to cast spells or activate abilities. However, since the player affected by Silence controlled The Gitrog Monster and had to discard cards during cleanup, one of which was a land, players got rounds of priority.

  6. Render Silent is the counterspell AND silence in one card, so it only loses you one card of card advantage. Spending an entire card just to get the silence effect isn't worth it as it's card disadvantage and tempo advantage.
