It just means to make your car/mode of transportation look better. (Rarely, anyone says that.)|Make it look cool. |It generally means you wish for someone to make your vehicle look more aesthetically pleasing.
9 de oct. de 2006 · Pimping out one's ride is a very, very slangy way to say "update features of my car in a way that is not usual, but looks cool." If I were not a native speaker, I would avoid "pimp my ride" at all costs, because it sounds ridiculous 99.9999% of the time.
6 de jun. de 2024 · It generally means you wish for someone to make your vehicle look more aesthetically pleasing. Also, I'm pretty sure that phrase derived from a popular MTV show with the same phrase as the title. The shows central focus was -you guessed it- making cars look.
MTV Pimp My Ride. While Xzibit initially began his career in the entertainment industry as a rapper from Los Angeles, his mainstream breakthrough came almost a decade later as the host of the MTV show Pimp My Ride, which ran for six seasons from 2004 to 2007.
