Feridun Zaimoğlu (4 de diciembre de 1964 (59 años) es un autor alemán y artista visual de origen turco. Se ha convertido en uno de los poetas contemporáneos más importantes de la lengua alemana.
Feridun Zaimoğlu (born 4 December 1964, in Bolu) is a German author and visual artist of Turkish descent. His central themes are the problems of the second and third generation of Turkish immigrants to Germany.

Feridun Zaimoglu ist Sohn türkischer Gastarbeiter und kam 1965 mit seinen Eltern nach Deutschland. Er wohnte bis 1985 in West-Berlin und München. Nach bestandenem Abitur brach Zaimoglu ein Medizinstudium ab und ist seit Ende der 1980er Jahre als freier Schriftsteller in Kiel tätig.
