Lieutenant Colonel Sir Francis Edward Younghusband, KCSI KCIE (31 May 1863 – 31 July 1942) was a British Army officer, explorer and spiritual writer. He is remembered for his travels in the Far East and Central Asia; especially the 1904 British expedition to Tibet, led by himself, and for his writings on Asia and foreign policy.
Francis Edward Younghusband (Murree, 31 de mayo de 1863 - Lytchett Minster, 31 de julio de 1942) fue un militar, explorador, espiritista y teniente coronel británico. Son célebres sus viajes al Extremo Oriente y Asia Central y sus escritos a tal respecto.
Explorador británico que realizó varias expediciones en Asia, especialmente en el Tíbet, donde firmó un tratado con el Gobierno local. Fue condecorado, ascendido y nombrado caballero por su labor, y también participó en la preparación de los primeros intentos de ascensión al Everest.

He also forced the conclusion of the Anglo-Tibetan Treaty (September 6, 1904) that gained Britain long-sought trade.
