Commander Harold Godfrey Lowe, RD (21 November 1882 – 12 May 1944) was a Welsh naval officer. He was also the fifth officer of the RMS Titanic, and was amongst the four of the ship's officers to survive the disaster.
5th Officer Harold Godfrey Lowe was instrumental in loading lifeboats and later returned to the scene of the sinking to pick up survivors from the water.

Harold Godfrey Lowe was the Fifth Officer of the Titanic. He survived the sinking in Lifeboat 14. Lowe had been 14 years at sea, starting when he ran away from home at the age of 14.
Harold Lowe was Titanic's Fifth Officer, but in the wake of the tragedy he was one of the few who, especially in later years, became regarded as something of a hero. Lowe came from a family of jewellers but decided not to follow the same career.
