Robert Brudenell, 6th Earl of Cardigan (25 April 1760 – 14 August 1837) was an English peer and Member of Parliament.
Robert Brudenell (20 September 1726 – 20 October 1768) was a British army officer and Member of Parliament. Brudenell was the third son of the 3rd Earl of Cardigan and Elizabeth Bruce and a younger brother of the 1st Duke of Montagu and 4th Earl of Cardigan and the 5th Earl of Cardigan.
26 de abr. de 2022 · Robert Brudenell, 6th Earl of Cardigan (25 April 1760, Westminster – 14 August 1837, Marylebone) succeeded to his title on 24 February 1811, following the death of his uncle James Brudenell, 5th Earl of Cardigan. Robert Brudenell was a keen cricketer who made eight known appearances in major cricket matches between 1790 and 1793.

Biography. Brudenell sat for Marlborough on his uncle the Earl of Ailesbury’s interest. His parliamentary career did not go beyond a silent support of administration. He gave it up in 1802, finding attendance ‘inconvenient and fatiguing’. He died 14 Aug. 1837. Ailesbury mss, Ailesbury to Ld. Bruce, 23 June 1802. Ref Volumes: 1790-1820.
