Ieuan Wyn Jones (born 22 May 1949) is a Welsh politician who was the Deputy First Minister in the Welsh Government from 2007 to 2011. He was the Member of the National Assembly for Wales for the Ynys Môn constituency from 1999 to 2013, and he was also leader of Plaid Cymru from 2000 to 2012.
Ieuan served as Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly until the 2007 election when the One Wales Government was formed, and he became the Deputy First Minister. On 19 July 2007, it was announced that Ieuan would also be Minister for Economy and Transport.

Ieuan oedd Arweinydd yr Wrthblaid yn y Cynulliad tan etholiad 2007 pan ffurfiwyd Llywodraeth Cymru’n Un ac fe’i penodwyd yn Ddirprwy Brif Weinidog Cymru. Ar 19 Gorffennaf 2007, cyhoeddwyd mai Ieuan fyddai’r Gweinidog dros yr Economi a Thrafnidiaeth hefyd.
Ieuan Wyn Jones was Deputy First Minister of Wales, 2007–11. He was the Member for Ynys Môn in the Welsh Assembly, 1999–2013, and in the UK Parliament, 1987–2001.
Ieuan Wyn Jones is a qualified solicitor and a former MP and AM for Ynys Môn was appointed Deputy First Minister and Minister for the Economy and Transport in the Welsh Government (2007-11). In 2013 stepped down from politics to set up the Menai Science Park (trading as M-SParc).
