Walter Hyatt (October 25, 1949 – May 11, 1996) was an American singer and songwriter. His group, Uncle Walt's Band, was involved in the alternative music scene in Austin, Texas.
22 de feb. de 2008 · Walter Hyatt was a singer-songwriter and founding member of Uncle Walt's Band, one of Austin's most popular acts in the 1970s and 1980s. He died in a plane crash in 1996, but his unfinished recordings have been released as Some Unfinished Business, Volume One, featuring collaborations with Lyle Lovett, Jerry Douglas, and others.
