Shalina Deborah Kumar (born 1971) is an American attorney from Michigan who is a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
In 2021, the Hon. Shalina D. Kumar became the first person of South Asian descent to be nominated for a federal judgeship in Michigan. She was sworn in as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan in December of 2021.
