Levón Aronián ( Armenio: Լևոն Գրիգորի Արոնյան, 6 de octubre de 1982) es un Gran Maestro Internacional de ajedrez armenio - estadounidense, en 2012 era el n.º 2 de la clasificación mundial y n.º 1 de Armenia con 2820 puntos Elo. 1 Fue galardonado con el título de GM por la FIDE en 2000.
Levon Grigori Aronian (Armenian: Լևոն Գրիգորի Արոնյան, romanized: Levon Grigori Aronyan; born 6 October 1982) is an Armenian-American chess grandmaster. A chess prodigy, he earned the title of grandmaster in 2000, at age 17.
Levon Grigorievich Aronian was born in Yerevan and learned to play chess when he was nine years old. He is a former U12 (1994) and Junior (U20) World Champion (2002), became an International Master in 1996 at 13, and became a Grandmaster in 2000 at 17.
