Danièle NOEL. Leader. MSC and MSC-derived EV for biotherapy in rheumatic diseases. We have demonstrated the therapeutic interest of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) for several rheumatic and autoimmune diseases: osteoarthritis (OA), rheumatoid arthritis (CIA) and systemic sclerosis (SSc).
Danièle Noël is director of research at INSERM. She heads the group “Biology of Mesenchymal stem cell and cartilage therapies” in the Institute of Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapies of Montpellier (IRMB).

Dr. Noël received her Master in Health Biology and PhD on Life Sciences from Bordeaux II University in Bordeaux, France. In 1992, Dr. Noël completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute for Molecular Genetics in Montpellier in the field of gene therapy and recombinant retrovirology.
Danièle Noël is currently a Research Director/Professor at Inserm at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapies (IRMB) in Montpellier. She received her PhD in Health Biology from Bordeaux University in 1992.
