Shūji Sano (佐野周二, Sano Shūji, October 10, 1912 – December 21, 1978) was a Japanese actor active from 1936 to 1977. A popular star of the Shōchiku film studios, [4] he is best known for his appearances in the films of Yasujirō Ozu, Keisuke Kinoshita, Heinosuke Gosho and Hiroshi Shimizu.
Shûji Sano was born on 20 October 1912 in Tokyo, Japan. He was an actor, known for Ojôsan kanpai (1949), Mejiro Sanpei monogatari: Uchi no nyôbô (1957) and There Was a Father (1942). He died on 21 December 1978.
