Takayuki Hattori (服部 隆之, Hattori Takayuki, born November 11, 1965) is a Japanese film, television, video game and non-soundtrack music composer, arranger and conductor. He is the son of the composer Katsuhisa Hattori and grandson of composer Ryōichi Hattori.
人物・来歴. 成蹊小学校 （3年次に編入）、 成蹊中学校 を経たのち、成蹊高等学校を2年次に中退し [6] 、1983年に フランス へ渡る [1] 。 1985年、 パリ国立高等音楽院 に入学 [1] 。 同院修了後の1988年に帰国し、音楽家としての活動を開始する [2] [1] 。 主にアレンジャーとして活動する傍ら [1] 、1990年に ドラマ 『 代表取締役刑事 』で 劇伴 デビュー後は作曲家としても頭角を表し、1996年に『 藏 』で、1998年には『 ラヂオの時間 』および『 誘拐 』で 日本アカデミー賞 優秀音楽賞を受賞した。 2010年には 上海万博 「日本館」の音楽監督を、2011年4月からは NHK教育 の 子供向け番組 『 フックブックロー 』の音楽を担当する。

Grandson of composer Ryoichi Hattori and son of composer Katsuhisa Hattori, Takayuki Hattori started out his career as a music arranger for Masashi Sada before given his big break by being allowed to compose Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994), after Akira Ifukube turned down the oppurtinty.
