Magee Secondary School is a public secondary school on West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the first public high schools located in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood and is fed by the surrounding elementary schools in its catchment area.
The Vancouver School Board is committed to parent, family and community engagement, and it is our hope that by providing this tool on our website that we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English and thereby enabling better engagement in public education.
Magee Secondary meets the needs 1,100 students in the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver. Opened in 1914, the school is named after pioneer farmer Hugh Magee and its mascot is a lion. The school's widely recognized strong academic program is complemented by a rich variety of electives.
