Isabella of England (16 June 1332 – c. 5 October 1382) was the eldest daughter of King Edward III of England and Philippa of Hainault, and the wife of Enguerrand de Coucy, Earl of Bedford, by whom she had two daughters. She was made a Lady of the Garter in 1376.

As the daughters of Isabella de Coucy, Mary and Philippa were the granddaughters of the English king Edward III and his wife, Philippa of Hainault. Their father, Enguerrand de Coucy, married Isabella whilst a hostage in the English court and began serving England.
5 de feb. de 2015 · Isabella finally married in 1365, at Windsor, at the rather late age of 33, in what appears to have been a love match. Her husband, Enguerrand VII Lord of Coucy, was 7 years her junior, and a hostage for the fulfilment of the Treaty of Bretigny.
16 de jun. de 2017 · In 1360, now 28, Isabella met Enguerrand VII, Lord of Coucy, a Frenchman brought to the English court as a hostage for King Jean II of France, a still-lingering consequence of the Battle of Poitiers five years before.
