Hafsa bint Umar (en árabe: حفصة بنت عم) (n. 605 - m. 665/66) era hija de Umar ibn al-Jattab y esposa del profeta islámico Mahoma, y por lo tanto ha sido considerada como la "Madre de los Creyentes".
Hafsa bint Umar ( Arabic: حفصة بنت عمر, romanized : Ḥafṣa bint ʿUmar; c. 605–665) was the fourth wife of Muhammad and a daughter of the second caliph Umar ( r. 634–644 ). In Islamic writings, her name is thus often prefixed by the title "Mother of the Believers" (Arabic: أمّ المؤمنين, romanized: ʾumm al- muʾminīn ).

Hafsah Bint ‘Umar was born five years before the Messenger of Allah became a Prophet. She was six years older than her brother 'Abdullaah . She was a beautiful and pious woman. Her first marriage was to Khunays Ibn Huthaafah Ibn Qays as-Sahami who was from Quraysh.
