Arthur Llewelyn Davies (20 February 1863 – 19 April 1907) was an English barrister of Welsh origin, but is best known as the father of the boys who were the inspiration for the stories of Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie.

29 de oct. de 2012 · Few works of literature have idealized childhood so profoundly as Peter Pan. But the Llewelyn Davies brothers who inspired J.M. Barrie to create the world of Neverland would grow up to become “Lost Boys” of a more tragic sort, beset by misfortune and unhappiness.
The boys were born to Arthur Llewelyn Davies, a barrister, and his wife Sylvia (née du Maurier), the daughter of French-born cartoonist and writer George du Maurier. Their father was the son of preacher John Llewelyn Davies, and brother of suffragist Margaret Llewelyn Davies.
Arthur Llewelyn Davies (d. 1907) was one of seven children and the second son of Mary Crompton (d. 1885) and John Llewelyn Davies (1826-1916). John, a respected scholar, theologian, and translator, and outspoken advocate of worker's rights, trade unionism, and women's suffrage, was Rector at Kirby Lonsdale, Cumbria.

30 de may. de 2014 · Arthur Llewelyn Davies was the second son of John Llewelyn Davies (1826-1916), the vicar of Kirkby Lonsdale and an alpinost. His siter Margaret Llewelyn Davies (1861-1944) was a suffragette. He studied at Marlborough College and Trinity College, Cambridge.
