Strictly Ballroom is the original soundtrack of the 1992 Golden Globe-nominated film Strictly Ballroom starring Paul Mercurio, Tara Morice, Barry Otto and Pat Thomson. The original score was composed by David Hirschfelder. The album won the BAFTA Award for Best Original Film Score.

David Hirschfelder (born 18 November 1960, Ballarat, Victoria) is an Australian musician, film score composer and performer. As a musician he has been a member of Little River Band and John Farnham Band. He has composed film scores for many films, including Strictly Ballroom, Australia, The Railway Man, The Water Diviner and The Dressmaker.
David Hirschfelder gained international recognition for his work on the award-winning 1993 film, Strictly Ballroom. Since then, he has continually impressed audiences with his scores, including the Academy-Award nominated Shine in 1996.
