DHS is a WASC accredited, 3-year, public comprehensive high school covering grades 10–12. The campus opened its current location in 1961; the previous high school location is now Davis City Hall. Enrollment for school year 2017–2018 was 1,749 students.
Davis Senior High School is ranked #921 in the National Rankings. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.

Located on our current campus since 1960, Davis Senior High School (DSHS) is one of the top comprehensive high schools in the Greater Sacramento Area. As a three-year high school, we are known for strong academic, athletic, fine and performing arts, and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs.
