Circle in the Square Theatre School is a non-profit, tax exempt drama school associated with Circle in the Square Theatre; it is the only accredited conservatory attached to a Broadway theatre. It offers two 2-year full-time programs: a Professional Theatre Workshop, and a Professional Musical Theatre Workshop.

Founded in 1961, Circle in the Square Theatre School is the only accredited training conservatory associated with a Broadway theater. Committed to reaching a diverse body of students, the school is partnered with the Harlem School of the Arts and the Association of Hispanic Arts.
CIRCLE IN THE SQUARE THEATRE SCHOOL. An independent non-profit 501(c)3, began training actors in 1961. We are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre . We share a busy space with the famed Circle in the Square Theatre.
In 1972, Circle moved to its Broadway home on 50th Street – the first new Broadway theatre in fifty years. The complex includes a three- or four-sided main theatre auditorium with a maximum capacity of 680 seats, classrooms, rehearsal studios and administrative offices.
