Fahd bin Badr Al Saud (Arabic: فهد بن بدر عبد العزيز آل سعود) is a Saudi Arabian politician who served as the governor of Al Jawf Province from 2002 to 2018. He is a member of the House of Saud and the son of Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz .

House of Saud is a translation of Al Saud, an Arabic dynastic name formed by adding the word Al (meaning "family of" or "House of") to the personal name of an ancestor. In the case of the Al Saud, the ancestor is Saud ibn Muhammad ibn Muqrin , the father of the dynasty's 18th century founder Muhammad bin Saud (Muhammad, son of Saud).

He became King of Saudi Arabia in 1982 (1402 H) following the death of King Khaled. Throughout his political career, King Fahd participated in and led various Saudi delegations, thus acquiring the expertise needed to take important decisions in both domestic and international domains.
