Barry Wickens is a British musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer. Primarily a violinist and guitarist, he also plays mandolin, viola, Appalachian dulcimer (psaltery), dobro and keyboards.

He began his musical career in his teenage years, exploring various violin styles, including improvising through folk, bluegrass, jazz, blues, and rock music, and so established an eclectic taste and a route to travel. Barry went on to study violin, piano and composition at Trinity College of Music, London.

Playing violin, mandolin, dobro and guitar to the latest album release of Hugh Prestwood songs called "Nashville Tears" including songs from her fine back catalogue.
