Originally from Brooklyn, New York, singer and guitar player Ramsey Modiri relocated back to Southern California to continue the band with childhood friends Turtle Ghamssari on guitar and Peter Melton on bass. The music is based on inspiration from the Dadaism art movement.

Guitar prodigy Ramsey "TGX" Modiri has transitioned to being an honorary member of BVLC since moving from Brooklyn to Long Beach, CA at the end of 2016, to bring his uniquely dark aesthetic and sound to the west coast.
