Space Wrangler is the first studio album by the Athens, GA based band Widespread Panic. It was first released by a small Atlanta label, Landslide Records, on February 4, 1988. It was later reissued four times, the first two times by Capricorn Records/Warner Bros. Records, and, in 2001, by Zomba Music Group.
Terry "T" Lavitz (April 16, 1956 – October 7, 2010) was an American keyboardist, composer and producer. He is best known for his work with the Dixie Dregs and Jazz Is Dead.

11 de sept. de 2021 · For the Widespread Panic sessions, the band added famed Dixie Dregs keyboardist T Lavitz as a member, though he would rejoin the Dregs before sessions for WSP’s next studio album began. (Lavitz passed away in 2010.)
The album features T Lavitz on keyboards and was produced by Johnny Sandlin. For many years after the album’s release, rumors swirled that Track 7, C. Brown, was included on the album as a tribute to Camden, Alabama native Cliff Brown Jr., former singer for Tuscaloosa’s The Ecchoing Green.
