The Evangelist (伝道者, Dendōsha) is the leader of the White-Clad. Her exact nature and origin are unknown. The Evangelist is a large person in a hooded light colored robe that hides the majority of her facial features besides her mouth.

God has given the message and the evangelist is to be faithful to every word. The evangelist’s effectiveness depends on the clear and authoritative preaching of the Gospel from Scripture. “God said” and “Jesus spoke” are the authority; not “I think” “we believe”, or “our church teaches.”

EVANGELIST ē văn’ jə lĭst (Gr. εὐαγγελιστής, G2296, one who announces good news). The twin words euaggélion, “gospel,” and euaggelistēs, “evangelist,” came into Biblical use with the advent of Jesus. “Good news” merited “a messenger of good news.”
