Flumina is a double studio album by musicians Christian Fennesz and Ryuichi Sakamoto, following their previous collaboration Cendre, released in 2007.

Sakamoto sent the tracks over to Christian Fennesz and he worked on them using electronics, guitars and synths. They met in New York then and mixed the album together with Fernando Aponte at The Studio, NY.
5 de dic. de 2011 · Prior to the performance, Sakamoto would semi-improvise a new piece in a different key, eventually covering all twenty four tonal steps of the scale. The pieces were then delivered to Christian Fennesz, who has layered additional synth pads, tiny electronic elements, and of course, his guitar.
