Nambour State College was founded in 2016, resulting from the amalgamation of Nambour State High School and Nambour State School. Two of the oldest schools on the Sunshine Coast had co-existed for decades and decided to join forces to help provide the best possible education for our students.
Nambour State College is a co-educational, state high school located in Nambour, Queensland, Australia. Established on 2 February 1953. In 2006 the school had enrolment figures of 1,367, including adult students.

Nambour State College is located on the Sunshine Coast, between beaches and the hinterland. Nambour State College was founded in 2016 through the merger of Nambour State High School and Nambour State Primary School. The two original campuses are now the respective campuses for Juniors and Seniors.

Our comprehensive Transition Program, which starts as early as Year 4, is specifically designed to help students feel confident in their sense of belonging as they enter high school.
