I don't use one currently, but I taught myself to type on one when I was about 11. I'd like to get back into using one for my work, but I don't know if I'd have the patience for it now; probably grown soft in my use of laptops with chiclet keyboards...
In the vast Internet of Things, you can probably find someone that could refurbish an old typewriter for you, or fabricate one custom. But there are not any commercial makers of typewriters anymore.
Typewriters have been on the way out since the 1980s. As much as they are neat, the lack of an "undo" key or any direct ability to edit or save a typed document ends up being too huge of a drawback. I'm sure there are still some collectors who have typewriters.
