He saw me at the Montreux Festival, doing a show with Rachelle Ferrell, in her first performance in Europe, and was so impressed with her that he signed me! Seriously though, we turned the festival out!!!!

Rachelle Ferrell empezó a cantar a la edad de seis años en una coral Evangélica en su referente de Gospel, de ello desarrolló su sorprendente voz que abarca seis octavas y media, esta es comparable con el sonido que desprende un registro de silbato en sus tonos más agudos, por tanto Ferrell lleva consigo un aparato fonador con un umbral muy amplio.

Rachelle Ferrell (1961, Berwyn, Pensilvania) es una cantante y compositora estadounidense. Aunque iniciada y partícipe en géneros como el Góspel, R&B y Pop, su corriente más conocida y talentosa es el Jazz contemporáneo.
In the same year, she appeared on George Duke's album Snapshot. In 1993, Ferrell headlined her own tour and performed several jazz festivals. In 1995, Ferrell released her album First Instrument in the USA. From 1995 to 1997, Ferrell toured as part of the George Duke Band.
