The device connects to Wi-Fi, downloads the latest updates and works normally until you get to the screen where you pair your headset to the quest app. I can't get the app to recognise the device and the only route appears to be to add a new device.

Hace 3 días · If the pairing code does not appear on your Oculus, it could be due to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity issues, software updates, device incompatibility, or hardware malfunctions. Troubleshoot these potential causes to restore functionality.
Reboot your phone or do whatever to fully-close the Meta app and re-open it, and check Settings -> Devices. If your headset is still there, it should show Connected. If it does, tap it, and factory reset it from the app. This is needed in order to get the headset unpaired from the mobile app.

However, this fix may not work for everyone, so you need to factory reset your device, which can be done using your headset, laptop, and your phone.
