The console significantly expands the space in AS350 series helicopters for installation of electronic components widely used by airborne law enforcement and electronic newsgathering helicopters.
P132 and P122 consoles are mechanically different; see documents G10251 (Rev. H or later) and G12310 (Rev. B or later) for the mechanical details of the P132 and P122 console assemblies, respectively.

The Geneva center console is wider than the factory-installed Eurocopter console and may limit lateral cyclic movement under certain conditions.
